After the Burial of Dog Stanley

 is a road trip comic about loss, memory, and the act of storytelling. It employs an uncertain relationship between text and image, so that the text can be read as a coherent story, and the images follow their own parallel logic, supporting and undermining the words' narrative authority. A full colour, always pretty, stream of consciousness weaves in and out of a more rigorous comic-essay framework, so that the comic can be read in any way that the reader chooses.
